You'll usually find me writing, in the ocean, or waterfall hunting at home on Maui.

Where am I from anyway? Corte Madera, in the suburbs near San Francisco. I've called Hawaii home for the last 15 years.

Weirdest job: Geoducking in the Puget Sound, which involves motoring out to mud banks at whatever strange hour the minus tide falls on, and planting fingernail sized geoducks into PVC tubes stuck in the mud. They grow into phallic sea creatures that China buys as a luxury culinary delight for top dollar.

Astrological snapshot: I'm a double Aquarius, sun and moon, with Libra rising. North node in Gemini, South node in Sagittarius.
